What we collect
To search title, issue a policy and settle a transaction we collect identifying information, property details, and financial information relating to the transaction — from you, your agent, your lender, and the public record.
How we use it
Solely to perform the settlement services you have engaged us for, to issue title insurance, and to meet legal and regulatory obligations. We do not sell personal information.
Who we share it with
Our underwriters, your lender, the parties to your transaction and their representatives, county recording offices, and service providers who work under confidentiality obligations. We disclose information where required by law.
How we protect it
Access is restricted to staff who need it. Systems are monitored and patched, and documents containing sensitive information are transmitted through secure channels rather than plain email.
Your choices
To ask what we hold about you, or to request a correction, contact either office. Some records must be retained for periods fixed by law or by our underwriters.
